Community participation and sustainable development
World Vision encourages community members to participate in project design, implementation, monitoring and evaluation, so as to achieve sustainable development of the community. 

Government relations and social network
World Vision has won recognition and established good relationship with government at all levels and other social organisations. 
Over the years, World Vision China has partnered with the Ministry of Civil Affairs, the State Council Leading Group for Poverty Alleviation and Development, the former China International Center for Economic and Technical Exchange, the National Ethnic Affairs Commission, and government departments at the provincial and county level. Non-governmental organizations and academic institutions that World Vision China has partnered with includes the China Charity Federation, local welfare organizations, the Soong Ching Ling Foundation, China Population Welfare Foundation, the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, Peking University, Tsinghua University, China Youth University of Political Studies and others.
